Pricing
The stopwatch, timer, countdown, hours calculator and timesheet are free with no account and no usage limit — and so is everything you would expect to be paid for: the employee roster with per-person rates, CSV export and import of your own rows, a JSON backup of the lot, and printing. Free exports and published countdown pages carry a small Tauvio credit. Tauvio Pass is a one-time payment that adds the finished timesheet PDF, saved history and your branding on countdown pages, and removes that credit; Tauvio Teams is the annual plan for organisations that want the same with priority support and invoiced billing, without shared workforce features.

What is free, and stays free
The stopwatch, the online timer, the countdown timer, the hours calculator and the on-screen timesheet are free forever. Not a trial, not a row limit: they're the reason the site exists, and everything they compute runs on your own device. There's no account to create, no email to hand over and no advertising between you and the tool. Free exports and published countdown pages do carry a small Tauvio credit; buying Pass removes it.
That includes the parts people expect to be paywalled elsewhere — overnight shifts, unpaid breaks, decimal and hh:mm output, hourly pay, real week dates, and the per-country overtime rules applied inside the calculators. The employee roster and its per-person rates are free. So is printing, including printing to PDF through your browser.
Your own rows are never held hostage: CSV export and import, and a JSON backup of everything you've entered, are free, because exporting your own work isn't a feature to sell you. The credit is separate from your data and doesn't stop you from importing it again. The same page carries one control that deletes the lot.
Tauvio Pass and Tauvio Teams
Tauvio Pass is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it's deliberately a small thing to buy. It brings together the parts you send or publish: a theme-designed A4 timesheet PDF with a consistent layout and totals, the saved library, which keeps finished weeks and months as a history instead of one current week you overwrite, and your own accent colour and logo on a published countdown page. Pass also removes the Tauvio credit from eligible exports and published countdowns. That's the whole of the Pass bundle across the time tools — it's not a fee for the calculations themselves.
If a spreadsheet export and a printout are all you need, the free tools already do that and you shouldn't pay us anything. Tauvio Teams is the annual plan for organisations that want the same Pass features with priority support and invoiced billing on request. It doesn't add shared workforce accounts, approvals, payroll integration or server-held timesheets — those workflows aren't part of Tauvio today. The current price for each plan is shown on the cards above.
How payment and refunds work
Checkout runs through Stripe. Depending on availability, Stripe may offer the price in your local currency and the payment methods common in your country — review the final amount before you pay. Card details are entered into Stripe’s secure fields on Tauvio’s checkout page and go straight to Stripe; they never reach Tauvio. Your purchase can be restored by email on another device, but no Tauvio account or password gets created.
A paid feature never moves your time data. The PDF document is generated in your browser and the saved library is stored there; buying the Pass unlocks functionality instead of uploading your work.
Tauvio Pass carries a 14-day refund with no questions asked: ask within 14 days of purchase and you get your money back, whatever the reason. Tauvio Teams can be cancelled any time — no notice period, no cancellation fee — and the unused part of the year is refunded pro rata. Neither path costs you the data you already entered, because it never left your browser.
Questions and answers
Do I have to pay to use the stopwatch, timer or hours calculator?
No. Those tools are free forever with no account and no usage limit, and so are CSV export and import, the JSON backup, the employee roster with per-person rates, and printing, though free exports carry a small Tauvio credit. Pass adds the finished timesheet PDF, the saved library of weeks and your own branding on published countdown pages, and removes that credit.
Is Tauvio Pass a subscription?
No, it's a one-time purchase covering the finished timesheet PDF, saved history and published countdown branding. Tauvio Teams is the annual plan — the same product features with priority support and invoiced billing, but it doesn't add shared workforce software.
Which currency will I get charged in?
The prices on this page show their listed currency. Stripe may offer your local currency and payment methods where available — review the final amount at checkout.
Can I print a timesheet without paying?
Yes. Browser printing in any of the five timesheet templates, including saving the printout as a PDF, is free, and CSV export is free too, though free exports may carry a small Tauvio credit. What Pass adds is a separately generated A4 timesheet PDF in the same templates, the theme-designed layout included, with no credit.
Can I get a refund, and how do I cancel?
Tauvio Pass has a 14-day refund with no questions asked — ask within 14 days of purchase and you get your money back, whatever the reason. Tauvio Teams can be cancelled any time, with no notice period and no cancellation fee, and the unused part of the year is refunded pro rata. Cancelling changes nothing about your saved weeks: they're in your browser, not on a server.
Is there an account, and what happens if I switch browsers?
There's no account and no password. A purchase is a token stored in the browser you bought it in, so the tools unlock on that device only; use Restore a purchase to email yourself a fresh link and unlock another browser or machine. Your rows stay in that browser's local storage whether you buy anything or not, because every calculation on the site runs on your device.
