Kitchen Timer

This kitchen timer runs several named countdowns at the same time, so an egg, the pasta and the rice can each have their own clock and their own sound. Tap a preset to start it at once, or add your own with a name and a length.

Several timers, one for each pot

A kitchen almost never has just one thing timed at once — an egg, the rice and something in the oven all have their own clock. This page runs up to eight named timers at the same time, each counting down on its own and each ending with its own sound, so a soft egg's chime does not get mixed up with the rice's bell.

Six presets are ready with one tap — a soft, medium or hard egg (roughly 6, 8 or 10 minutes), tea, pasta and rice — and any other length just needs a name and the minutes. It all runs free in this browser tab, with no account and nothing to install.

Questions and answers

How long should I boil an egg?

For an egg lowered into water that is already boiling, a soft yolk is typically around 6 minutes, a medium set is around 8, and a fully hard yolk is around 10 — the three egg presets on this page.

Pwede ba akong mag-set ng ilang timer nang sabay?

Yes. Up to eight named timers can run together, each with its own remaining time and its own sound, so you know which one finished without checking every card.

Do I need an account?

No. The kitchen timer runs in this browser tab only, with no account, no sign-up and nothing to install.
